Vinh Nguyen is a senior manager based in our Hanoi office.  He has nearly 20 years of experience in the Vietnam electricity sector, having held different key position at EVN, including  NLDC and EVN Strategy Department.  His work has included overseeing dispatch of the Vietnam electricity market and running of VWEM wholesale market; as well as analysis and planning related to buildout of renewable energy and future energy transition (e.g. future use of  smart grid, T&D integration, battery/energy storage, power purchase and sale mechanisms).  Vinh holds an EMBA from Asian Institute of Technology, MSc Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Otto von Guericke University, and BEng Power System Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology.  He is fluent in Vietnamese and English.
