Oscar is a manager in the Deep Analytics Resources team at TLG, with extensive experience in energy market regulation, commercial strategy, and data analytics.  He has particular expertise in regulatory economics from overseeing the modelling of cost-of-service and tariff design for four utilities since 2019.  Additionally, Oscar leads the workstream of rooftop solar market sizing, which has facilitated commercial transactions over the past few years.  In the Deep Analytics team, he initiates the development of cluster model and descriptive analytics for the firm’s market intelligence reports. Other specialties extend across tariff benchmarking, demand forecast, WACC determination, and energy modelling.  Prior to joining TLG, his work focuses on shockwave physics research for nuclear fusion power plant.  Oscar holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University, Canada.  He is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
