Miaosu researches and analyses regional energy markets in mainland China and Taiwan. Her experience includes commercial due diligence of renewable power assets, energy cost analysis and forecasts for large end-users, power market reform analysis, market fundamental analysis, support in PPA intermediate services, power tariff modelling (Taiwan), as well as civil nuclear certification and market development advisory for western companies (China mainland).  Prior to joining TLG, Miaosu was a business analyst at the nuclear energy-focused consultancy Nicobar Group in Shanghai.  Miaosu holds an MA in Energy, Resources and Environment (ERE) and International Economics from Johns Hopkins University, United States, and a BA in Political Science and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh, United States.  Miaosu is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
