Merrille is a chartered engineer with over 30 years of experience in the energy industry. He has a proven track record of providing high-level governance, strategic cohesion, and executive support over large, multi-disciplinary workforces and complex asset portfolios. Merrille’s roles in both the public and private sectors has been pivotal, bringing him to the forefront of working on projects involving power plant operations, grid operations, organisational restructuring and framework and policy development amongst many others. He holds an MBA from University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a BSc in Engineering from University of Moratuwa both in Sri Lanka.
