Liyuan is an energy professional in the power and renewables sector with an emphasis on the mainland China and Vietnam markets.  Her work focuses on renewable asset transaction support, commercial due diligence, and market entrance advisory.  She also supports end-users on green power procurement.  Her expertise includes power market modelling, analysis of power market fundamentals and generation economics, analysis of end-user tariff, and analysis of fuel price and carbon price.  Prior to joining TLG, Liyuan worked for a global consulting firm, a diplomatic mission and an energy think tank.  Liyuan holds a Master’s in International Relations from Jinan University and a Graduate Certificate on Energy, Resources and Environment from the Johns Hopkins-Nanjing Center.  She is fluent in Mandarin and English.
