Ian has worked closely on the electricity and gas sectors across Greater China, Vietnam and Thailand. He also analyses key drivers of changes to end-user pricing of electricity and gas throughout the region.  Ian has contributed multiple due-diligence studies on transactions of wind, solar and thermal projects, serving diverse clients including power developers, retailers, financial investors, regulatory bodies, and policymakers.  His expertise encompasses market fundamental analysis, policy intelligence, and market modelling, enabling him to provide valuable insights and recommendations.

Ian holds a BEng from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and an MA in Quantitative Analysis for Business from City University of Hong Kong.   He is fluent in Mandarin and English.
