Amirun Hamman Azram is an analyst in TLG's Malaysia office, with 2 years of experience in the energy sector. He focuses on the Malaysian market, working on various projects, both commercial and regulatory, including green energy procurement, tariff design, market studies, regulatory research, industrial decarbonization pathways, and benchmarking. Hamman has experience in developing models for renewable energy procurement costs, industrial decarbonization strategies, and economic regulatory models including revenue requirements, cost of service, and tariff design. Prior to joining TLG, he conducted policy research at a think tank, focusing on economic initiatives such as smart city solutions and digital government transformation. Hamman holds an MA in International Relations from the Institut Barcelona Etudis Internacionals in Spain, and a BEng in Mechatronics from the International Islamic University, Malaysia.  He is fluent in English and Malay.
