Nguyen Phan is an analyst in TLG’s Vietnam office. With skills of AI processing, deep learning, machine learning in power sector, he focuses on Vietnam’s electricity market, analyzing data on wholesale market operation, generation mix assessment, market long-term, near-term and short-term forecasting, and 30-minute transaction data of the power and market operation intervals. Nguyen has supported scenario analysis and electricity market modelling involving load constraints, generation sources,  input grids, and providing insights into the performance of hydropower, LNG, coal, renewable energy, BESS and other generation resources. Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Can Tho University and he is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
