Celebrating Our First Year as The Lantau Group

On 13 December 2010, the Hong Kong-based management team of CRA International (Hong Kong) Limited completed a buy-out of the company, and the formation of The Lantau Group (HK) Limited, otherwise known as TLG.

Our name signals our business focus in the Asia Pacific region.  Lantau Peak, on Lantau Island in Hong Kong, is also known as Chinese Phoenix Mountain, aptly reflecting the importance of reinventing the energy sector to meet the tough new challenges of rising costs, fuel security, technology choice, decarbonisation, competition and globalisation.

Over the past year we’ve advised clients throughout the region in the areas of commercial valuation, economic regulation, business strategy, competition and disputes.

We look forward to working with you in 2012.

Note:  The Lantau Group (HK) Limited (formerly named “CRA International (Hong Kong) Limited") is no longer associated with Charles River Associates International nor is it a member of the CRA International group of companies.

Lantau Peak is also known as the Chinese Phoenix Peak, a name which aptly reflects the difficulty of reinventing traditional businesses, like energy, to meet the tough new challenges of fuel security, technology choice, network performance management, information overload, decarbonization, competition and globalization.

As a successor company to CRA International (Hong Kong) Limited, The Lantau Group team continues to advise all of our existing clients. All contracts and agreements remain in force. We look forward to continuing those relationships, and forging new ones in the years to come.

''The core team has been advising Asia Pacific clients since 1989. We look forward to continuing to serve our clients and work with our trusted associates across Asia, expanding our business and enhancing the services we offer, '' said Mike Thomas, lead partner of The Lantau Group.
